Mariscos Isaac 1467 Palm Ave in Imperial Beach. This is not a glamorous restaurant. It’s actually not even really a restaurant, it’s a food truck. But despite this (and it’s in kind of a sketchy neighborhood too) the fish tacos served here are delicious. They are also very cheap. If you want the true San Diego fish taco experience, check this place out.

Taste of the Himalayas 3185 Midway Drive in Midway. This great tiny restaurant serves Himalayan food which is very similar to Indian food (yes Chicken Tikka Masala is on the menu.)

The Cravory La Jolla Farmer’s Market. This isn’t a restaurant or even a food truck. It’s just a food stand that serves fresh baked cookies at the weekly farmer’s market in La Jolla (Sunday 9AM to 1PM.) But these cookies are so highly recommended that it’s being included here anyway. If you are a lover of sweets and you are in San Diego on a Sunday then you must check out The Cravory.
